    History of the mouse
       Edit:管理员   Browse:17146  Date:2015-06-04
December 9, 1968, the world’s first mouse born in the United States Stanford University. Its inventor is Dr. Douglas Englebart.

In 1981, the first commercial mouse born

In 1983, Logitech invented the first optical mechanical mouse.

The early 1980s, there was even a first-generation optical mouse, this type of mechanical mouse, optical mouse with more than accuracy. But it must work in a special printed fine grid of optical mouse board. The mouse high cost limits its use of

In 1999, Agilent Technologies (Aeilent, later reorganized as Avago, Avago) released IntelliEye optical engine, and then appeared on the market do not need special mouse pad optical mouse, optical mouse’s popularity began.

In 2003, the launch of Logitech and Microsoft are micro Bluetooth mouse Bluetooth protocol

In 2005, Logitech co-operation with Avago introduced the first laser mouse (wireless, rechargeable, Logitech MX1000)

In 2006, the first obstacle to overcome glass wired laser mouse come out (DEXIN, ML45)

In 2006, the advent of the Bluetooth Laser Mouse (Acrox)

The first generation of optical mouse

Optical mouse moves the board must reflect, X and Y-emitting diode light-emitting diode emits light irradiation, respectively, in the reflection plate, then the light will be reflected back reflector, passes through the lens components after exposure in the photosensitive chip. Light-sensitive chip optical signal into digital signal corresponding to the positioning of the chip after the special treatment and, thus, XY coordinates of the offset data. But must rely on reflector optical mouse, it’s location data is fully based on the reflector of the grid information to generate, if some dirty or worn reflector, optical mouse can not determine the location of the cursor.

    Second-generation optical mouse

Although the first generation of optical mouse in the market fail miserably, but all-digital way of working, without the advantages of high precision mechanical structure, and still the industry attracted the attention, the first results in this area is Microsoft and Agilent Technologies. In 1999, Microsoft introduced a "IntelliMouse Explorer" second-generation optical mouse, this mouse is used to develop Microsoft’s IntelliEye with Agilent optical engine, from this time onwards, but only in the internal control chip with mousefurther understanding, but also makes the Agilent chip has become synonymous with good mouse control core. IntelliMouse Explorer is Microsoft’s use of IntelliEye engine and was still within the Agilent HP co-designed specifications for the 1500Hz, 400CPI. That is, at this time, scan rate, resolution and other mouse was only one measure of the attention.

In 2000, industry giant Logitech mouse with Agilent to launch related products, using Agilent H2000 optical imaging engine, performance and Intellimouse Explorer mouse. This generation is the first generation of optical imaging engine products.

Thus, the optical mouse form Microsoft and Logitech, represented by the two camps, although Agilent optical engine to master the core technology, but it did not involve the mouse product manufacturing, but to a third party optical mouse engine manufacturersproducts currently on the market of non-Microsoft, Logitech mouse, almost all brands use its technology.
